How twisted does this story sound?

I'm writing my first novel about a bunch of sickos (i.e. child molesters, mobsters, poachers, arsonists, and people who are cruel to animals) getting a taste of their own medicines. First they're going to humiliate them. One guy is a homophobic neo-Nazi/skinhead who murdered two gay men. He gets tied to a chair while a gay cowboy gives him a lap dance playing that song "Hot Stuff" by Donna Summer. The child molester has to wear adult-sized diaper, suck on a pacifier, shake a baby rattler in one hand, and carry a teddy bear in the other. Meanwhile, they play "Rock A-Bye Baby" and bombard him with water balloons. The guy who runs dogfights has to wear nothing but Scooby Doo underwear, a dog-eared baseball cap, and dog-paw slippers. The tormentors bind him and pull him around via leash. They even make him get on his knees and eat Alpo from a dog dish. They make the women wear fat suits run across treadmills while playing that song "Physical" by Olivia Newton-John. They speed the treadmills up gradually while everyone else joins in mocking and laughing at them. How do you like this idea?
Oh! There's some medieval torture involved, too. It starts off subtle and then becomes more severe.

Had her roots in the 60s w/ the Stone Poneys, was at the top of her game in the 70s, dated high profile names (she was a looker in her day for sure. I remember her being mentioned among names like Farrah Fawcett & Olivia Newton-John lol), & her star had pretty much faded by the 80s.
I remember being surprised when she publicly embraced her Mexican heritage cause I had no idea at the time. I'm sure she might've been told to downplay it, which is sad.

Kay so I was shopping the other day in a shop in downtown State College at a store called Metro, and there was a song playing that I've heard before but can never find it anywhere. The only thing I kind of remember is that some of the lyrics are like "If you love me let me know" or "If you love him let him know"... idk something along those lines. I googled all of the combo of lyrics and only found like ragaee and Olivia Newton John stuff- and that isn't it. The punishments start off light and subtle. First my four tormentors are going to taunt and humiliate them. Then they torture them. Last they execute them medieval style. I added some humor into the story. For example, the neo-Nazi who murdered two gay men is going to get a lap dance from a gay cowboy while they're playing a certain song.
I'm trying to find a good song for what they're going do with the women. The tormentors make the women wear fat suits that make them look like they weigh 300 lbs. Then they make them all run across long treadmills. The tormentors speed them up gradually until the girls are sprinting like track stars. All the while, the tormentors are mocking the women and laughing at them. Both of the female tormentors get down and start jamming during the routine.
Last, I'm trying to figure out what a good song to play would be? Which of these is most fitting? Two of them I got from that movie "Flashdance" with Jennifer Beals. I want to know from people here with a little knowledge on fashion history.

Now, I know spandex leggings are in today as a revival. This trend started coming in in 2005, and became popular by 2006, and grew in popularity in 2007 & 2008. But I want to know what year did spandex leggings originally come in style, when they first were popular in the 80's, and what exactly started the trend? And furthermore, what year did spandex/leggings go out of style? Usually a celebrity caught wearing them starts the trend, or some fashion designer decides to put them on the runway and they are a hit.

When I think back, I remember women/girls (and even guys that exercised) wearing spandex leggings in the early 90's. And I remember as late as 1995, women were still wearing spandex leggings. By the late 90's, I knew leggings were out of style because I remember in school you couldn't pay a lot of girls to be caught dead in spandex. I was in high school in the late 90's and early 2000's, and don't remember any girls wearing spandex leggings. Usually the only place you'd catch women wearing spandex leggings was in gyms and aerobics classes, and even that was becoming more rare, as spandex capris and then yoga pants were taking over. Now, granted, between 1996-2004 during the leggings hiatus, there would be random women here and there still wearing spandex leggings as street fashion, but these were fashion renegades. When clothing items go completely out of style, there still will be a few renegades that still wear the clothes regardless.
