When my sister and I were very young all we really had was eachother. Our mother got us all of the old 45's whenever the jukebox was changed. We immediately fell in love with this song. We sing it to this day. It really helpes us connect when life is hard. Thank you Olivia for giving us this precious gift to treasure forever.

I think that line 5 has a typo. She doesn't sing, "Holding you hand" she sings, "Holding YOUR hand." It's a beautiful song.

Olivia's release of "Let Me Be There" in 1973 was a wonderful song. I am a 41 year old who has been a fan of hers for over 35 years. She is a wonderful singer.
